December 6, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm AEDT

Europe as seen from space at night

The Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA) presents the annual UK IMechE Railway Division Chair’s Address to Australia and NZ  “How rail engineers make connections worldwide”, presented by James Collinson – Chair, IMechE Railway Division. This event will be held online at 7:00-8:00pm AEDT on the 6th December 2021.

The address will examine how, as engineers, we need to make connections and networks across the industry; highlighting some catalysts that inspire step change, pushing us outside the boxes we may have created for ourselves.

The address will also look at what organisations such as the Railway Division of IMechE and the RTSA should focus on to broaden the horizons of engineers and engineering organisations as we move to meet the challenges we face on the journey to build and maintain our railways.
