DESCRIPTION:The Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA) Victoria/Tasmania Chapter and the IRSE invite you to join them in person for two presentations. \nRegister to attend here\nPresentation One:\nCyber Security Operation Centre (CSOC) for Railways\nPresenter: Soroush Tazerji\, Principal\, Cyber Security\, Tactix \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nIn today’s industrial environment cyber-threats are growing in significance and the consequences can be catastrophic\, especially when perpetrated by state sponsored threat actors. A cyberattack on Operational Technology (OT) systems like Signalling\, SCADA\, PLCs can compromise the integrity or availability of these systems and result in financial harm\, equipment damage\, disruption of service and even loss of life. It is important to ensure that there is an appropriate Cyber Security Operation and Maintenance teams with the right skills and tools. The Cyber Security Operation Centre (CSOC) is a required central nervous system to detect\, analyse\, and respond to cybersecurity incidents\, typically around the clock\, when rail systems are operational. \nPresentation Two:\nCBTC Social Distancing for Trains\nPresenter: Andy Dawes\, System Deployment & Integration Manager\, Alstom \n \nA view of the implications and evolution of CBTC in Melbourne.
