As Director-General of Queensland’s Department of Infrastructure\, Local Government and Planning\, Mr Carroll was responsible for the delivery of planning reforms and infrastructure across Queensland. Formerly CEO of the Queensland Reconstruction Authority\, he oversaw a massive program of reconstruction works to rebuild Queensland after the impacts of cyclone and flood disasters. Mr Carroll also has a deep understanding of city-shaping rail infrastructure\, having held roles as Chair and Director of Brisbane’s Cross River Rail Delivery Authority.
