THE YOUNG RAILWAY ENGINEERÂ’S AWARD IS MADE TO ENCOURAGE AND REWARD, PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS, TECHNOLOGISTS OR ASSOCIATES IN AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND WHO ARE UNDER THE AGE OF THIRTY.
The award is made in 2005 to Mr. Wilson Wong, who presently is a Senior Engineer (Rail) with Maunsell Australia in its Melbourne Office.
The Young Railway Engineer’s Award is made to encourage and reward, professional engineers, technologists or associates in Australia & New Zealand who are under the age of thirty. The award is made in 2005 to Mr. Wilson Wong, who presently is a Senior Engineer (Rail) with Maunsell Australia in its Melbourne Office.
Since graduation Mr. Wong has gained experience with ABB Engineering Construction, Works Infrastructure and Maunsell Australia with whom he has undertaken a variety of assignments as a Graduate Engineer, a Project Engineer, Design Team Leader & Senior Engineer. This has involved the planning, design, inspection, maintenance and construction of rail infrastructure projects throughout Australia. He holds a B. Eng. Civil Degree from Monash University, is a Chartered Professional Engineer, a Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia and a Member of the Railway Technical Society of Australasia.
Honorable Mention is made of the nomination received in support of Mr. Brenden Vosper a Project Engineer with the Rail Division of the John Holland Group.
