The NSW Chapter presents rail-related technical presentations each month in the Bradfield Room on the Sydney Central Station main concourse next to Baggage Storage opposite platform 2. See our events page here for commencing times. At present, presentations are being delivered through online webinars to reduce the spread of coronavirus.
The Chapter arranges Study Tours of Rail Engineering (STOREs) to give members insights into topical rail projects and operations. These are held intrastate, interstate and overseas and recent STOREs have included Light Rail in Adelaide and Melbourne, the Hunter Valley Coal Chain, High-Speed Rail in Japan and the Metros in SE Asia.
The Annual Dinner features a high profile speaker and all members of the rail industry and partners are warmly invited to attend. Sponsorships are available for this prestigious event and these provide high exposure of goods and services to industry leaders.
Non-members are encouraged to attend meetings and become members to enhance their knowledge and experience in the rail industry and experience networking opportunities.
Suggestions for future events and sponsorships are always welcome.
