NSW/ACT Chapter

The NSW/ACT Chapter presents rail-related technical presentations, generally each month, online or at the Engineers Australia Market Street Auditorium. See our events page here for commencing times. Presentations may also be delivered through online webinars.

The Chapter arranges Study Tours of Rail Engineering (STOREs) to give members insights into topical rail projects and operations.  These are held intrastate, interstate and overseas and recent STOREs have included Light Rail in Adelaide and Melbourne, the Hunter Valley Coal Chain, High-Speed Rail in Japan and the Metros in SE Asia.

The Annual Dinner features a high profile speaker and all members of the rail industry and partners are warmly invited to attend.  Sponsorships are available for this prestigious event and these provide high exposure of goods and services to industry leaders.

Non-members are encouraged to attend meetings and become members to enhance their knowledge and experience in the rail industry and experience networking opportunities.

Suggestions for future events and sponsorships are always welcome.

For any information, please contact the Chapter Committee at [email protected].
