December 10, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm UTC+10

EA photo of Melbourne

Announced by the Victorian Government in 2018, Suburban Rail Loop is a 90 kilometre orbital rail loop linking every major rail line from Cheltenham to Werribee, via the airport, and connecting major education, health and employment precincts in Melbourne’s middle suburbs. This city and state-shaping project will transform how people move around Melbourne, create thousands of jobs and will support the future liveability of Melbourne as a city of more than 8 million people.

Over the past 18 months, Suburban Rail Loop Authority has made significant progress in the planning and design of Stage One from Cheltenham to Box Hill – with early construction expected to start in 2022.

This is an opportunity to hear from representatives of Suburban Rail Loop Authority working on the development of the biggest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history.
