Overview

In this online event, Jamie Green (Major Projects Director at WSP) will share an overview of Southern Program Alliance that is delivering the Melbourne’s Level Crossings Removal Project and talk about how it has developed over the last five years. He will cover how the Alliance model has enabled the team to evolve and to increase efficiency and value for money for the state of Victoria and the travelling public.

Starting with why we should remove level crossings, Jamie will cover a brief history of what Melbourne has achieved to date. He will also examine the high-level decision making and key considerations that are applied to each crossing. He will then cover the Alliance itself: the benefits of the model, what it has achieved, and an overview of each work package.
