Overview

Join the RTSA South Australian Chapter for their annual chapter meeting and dinner from 6:30-10:00pm ACST on 17 November 2022 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. This event is an opportunity to hear the latest in the realm of the rail industry, gain insight into the current technologies driving the industry and areas for improvement.

This event will include a presentation by Andrew Curran, Winner of South Australia’s Professional Engineer award in 2021 and General Manager – Infrastructure at Southern Launch. The presentation will explore the space race and the future of the space industry, and talk about the current challenges involved with the infrastructure requirements associated with the launch of small, mini and micro rockets. This will be followed by dinner and an opportunity to network.

About the speaker

Andrew Curran
General Manager – Infrastructure, Southern Launch

Andrew is the Winner of South Australia’s Professional Engineer award in 2021. Andrew is responsible for the development, construction and maintenance of all infrastructure at Southern Launch, including space ports, warehousing and offices. Southern Launch is an innovative space company providing the infrastructure and logistics support for orbital and sub-orbital launches of satellites and space payloads, offering two multi-user launch sites located in South Australia.
