Throughout Gregβs career he has remained keenly interested in maintenance engineering, reliability and process safety practices. He has delivered workshops, university lectures, professional training courses and technical papers on a variety of maintenance and asset management related subjects. Greg often speaks about these topics at international conferences.
Greg is an aerospace engineer by qualification, a Fellow of Engineers Australia; a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) registered on the National Engineers Register; a Certified Fellow in Asset Management (CFAM); a Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA); Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) and a Member of the Risk Management Institute of Australia (RMIA).
Greg is currently the Director of Engineering and Asset Management at Keolis Downer Rail, where he is responsible for all systems engineering; strategic asset management; standards development; technical assurance data and analytics activities related to the Yarra Trams assets.Β Greg is also the Chief Engineer at Yarra Trams and the Keolis Downer Adelaide train network, which keeps him busy overseeing engineering changes and the professional development of engineers and asset managers.
