The Collie Steel Mill

This presentation is being delivered by the Sustainable Engineering Society (SENG) in collaboration with the Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA). They will cover the story of the Collie Steel Mill and how it will produce low emissions steel, kickstart steelmaking for Western Australia and help a community transition from fossil fuel industry. It includes an introduction to low emissions steel making through Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) scrap recycling using state of the art technology to bring manufacturing and recycling back to Australia.
