Great River City Light Rail (Parramatta) Depot Site Visit


Join the RTSA NSW Chapter and Transdev for a site tour of the Great River City Light Rail (GRCLR) Depot and a brief summary of the network operations and asset management for Parramatta Light Rail.

Transdev are hosting a site visit for RTSA members at their GRCLR Depot which operates and maintains the Line 4 Parramatta light rail network.Β The site visit will include a brief presentation on the operations and asset management of the network, followed by a tour of the depot facility including the offices, OCC and Maintenance Workshop.
Please note that this is a live operating railway and visitors must obey all instructions.Β Also note that this visit may be cancelled at short notice due to operational circumstances requiring priority attention.

Learning Outcomes
You will gain an introduction and understanding of the operations and maintenance functions carried out on the Parramatta Light Rail network.
Β PPE Requirements
π·ββοΈAll attendees must wear full site gear, including:
- Steel cap boots
- Long pants
- Collared long-sleeve shirts
- Orange safety vests β (NSW rail compliant with an x on the back)
- Clear Safety glasses
- Gloves
- Helmets/Bump Camp
There is also a zero drug & Alcohol requirement. Attendees do not have to have RIW cards, however, if they do, are encouraged to bring them to make the site induction smoother.
