Parramatta Light Rail Depot, 4 Grand Ave, Camellia NSW

After successful registration, instructions on when and where to meet and assemble on site shall be issued.

Overview

Parramatta Light Rail is one of the NSW Government’s major infrastructure projects being delivered to serve a growing Sydney. Construction of the Stage 1 portion is now complete on all 16 light rail stops along the 12 km alignment from Westmead to Carlingford. Testing and commissioning of light rail vehicles is underway and the depot facility is nearing completion, with opening of the line on target within 2024.

CAF Turnkey & Engineering (T&E) has been working on the project since 2019 as part of the Great River City Rail Light Consortium, made up of CAF Rail Australia and Transdev Australasia. CAF have provided the RTSA with the opportunity to tour the near complete depot facility.

This event shall be limited to 20 attendees due to site constraints.

Attendees must bring their own PPE:

• Safety boots
• Orange Hi-Vis
• Long sleeve shirt
• Long pants
• Hard hat
• Safety glasses
