Utilising New Switch Grinding Technology to improve Rail Life in zero inclined infrastructure, a maintainer’s perspective

The focus of the presentation is to demonstrate the implementation of new switch grinding technology to install the 1:20 inclination in Zero canted infrastructure.

The presentation will discuss the loads and stresses applied to rails in switches when compared to regular 1:20 or 1:40 main line inclination.
