Perth’s Metropolitan Rollingstock Fleet: a brief history and look into the future

Overview
This event is a presentation on the history of the Public Transport Authority’s rollingstock assets including both electrics (EMUs) and diesels (DMUs). The presentation will include information about the current status of the fleets, which are in service and what works are currently underway.
The end will also provide a glimpse into the future of what is planned for PTA’s rollingstock. This is a rare opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look into the trains that move thousands of people every day across Perth.
