Queensland Train Manufacturing Program – Full-Scale Train Mock-Up Visit
October 29 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm AEST

We invite you in joining a special visit to the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) full-scale train mock-up in Geebung.
This is a unique opportunity for members a to step inside a full-scale representation of Queensland’s next generation of passenger trains and gain an early look at the design before the new fleet enters passenger service.
The high-fidelity mock-up extends approximately 38 metres and incorporates a driver’s cab and two passenger carriages. It was constructed in Maryborough before being transported to Geebung, where it has been used for stakeholder testing, particularly around passenger accessibility. The wider QTMP will deliver 65 new six-car passenger trains, manufactured at the purpose-built Torbanlea facility, with the first train currently anticipated to enter passenger service in 2027
Numbers are strictly limited – so If you’re interested in attending, please contact Queensland chapter chair via email: [email protected] by Wednesday 28th October.
