In this presentation, you will learn about the general aspects of acoustic engineering in practice, environmental noise emissions, station PA acoustics, railcar internal noise levels, and more.

Learning outcomes include:

  • acoustic engineering and it’s application in tunnel engineering
  • understanding acoustic engineering
  • noise modelling and noise mitigation.

About the presenter

Adam Cook, SA Acoustics Manager, WSP

Adam is the Acoustics Manager in WSP Australia based in the Adelaide office. He has over eleven years of experience in the field of acoustic engineering. Throughout his career, he has worked across many sub-disciplines within acoustic engineering. His particular interest is in environmental noise. He has worked on different industries such as resources, oil and gas, industrial, buildings, and transport.
