  • Train Order Working System Rationalisation (TOWSR) Project
In NSW and Victoria, ARTC currently has four sections on the rail network that use train order working systems to manage movement of rail traffic. These operate using both PTOS – Phoenix Train Order System, and the TMACS – Train Management And Control System. This project fulfils a key strategic item in the ARTC Digital Strategy to consider rationalisation of legacy train control interfaces. This presentation will provide an outline of the TOWSR Project. Review how it will deliver in terms of system consolidation, and operational efficiencies. It will explain the staged implementation aligned with Network Control Centres, and how it achieves the projects objectives leveraging the platform of existing technology and industry capability.
  • Completion of the Gawler Rail Electrification Signalling project
This presentation will focus on the signalling aspects of the project.
