Call for nominations for RTSA AWARDS Sub Committee membership


The Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA) Awards Sub Committee manages a large portfolio of Awards that provides encouragement and recognition to railway professionals throughout their career.  Details of the RTSA Awards can be found here.

We are now calling for nominations for 2 new members to join the Awards Sub-Committee, which is a voluntary role.

To nominate you must be a current member of RTSA and be willing to undertake the responsibilities as listed below. Nominations are open to any professional discipline, although to bring balance to the committee we are particularly looking at this time for Rollingstock/Mechanical and Design professionals. The membership of the committee is generally for at least a two year term and can continue for as long or short as you wish thereafter.

Responsibilities include:

  • Attendance to 2 x face-to-face Awards Sub-Committee one day meetings per year (generally in April and September) in a major city in Australia or New Zealand (COVID permitting) or online.
  • Reviewing and assessing submissions for up to 10 awards per annum, which are balanced throughout the year,

Who are we looking for?
