CORE 2020 postponed to 2021 due to COVID-19
The RTSA, Engineers Australia and the CORE 2020 Organising Committee have been monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic for some time. Over the past week many countries, agencies and institutions have put in place travel restrictions and strict isolation periods.
The health and safety of our delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, invited speakers and the local community in Perth are paramount, therefore, considering the risks involved, we have decided to postpone CORE 2020 to now become CORE 2021 to be held 21 – 23 June 2021 in Perth.
In reaching this decision we have considered alternatives, including delivering a fully virtual/online conference. However, we believe CORE has always been and will continue to be “the meeting place” for the Australasian rail community and it is best to maintain the face to face format as planned.
