RTSA NSW/ACT Chapter call for committee nominations 2024-25
The Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA) ACT/NSW Chapter is calling for nominations for Committee Members for the 2024/25 term (1 January 2024 to 31 December 2025).
Committee positions are a great way to gain exposure in the engineering profession and rail industry, contribute to the development of the RTSA and the wider rail industry, and accumulate continuing professional development (CPD) hours.
The RTSA NSW/ACT Chapter Committee meets online approximately 10 times a year, at a suitable time for the committee. Our primary purpose is the delivery of rail-related CPD events (technical presentations, site tours, panel nights) for NSW- and ACT-based members of the RTSA and the wider engineering profession.
The Committee is seeking representation across all aspects of diversity; whether that be experience, gender, culture, and anything else that will bring diversity of thought. Committee members may be based anywhere in NSW/ACT.
As per the RTSA Constitution, committee members must be financial members of the RTSA.
If you would like to nominate for the committee, please include the following in your submission:
- Your EA ID
- A brief paragraph stating why you would like to be on the committee, and the skills you would bring
- A concise CV, no more than 2 pages.
Please send your nomination via email to [email protected] by no later than 6:00pm AEST on Friday, 26 April 2024. Any nominations received after the closing time and date will be ineligible and not considered.

The successful nominees will commence their positions on the committee immediately.
