RTSA Congratulates Dr. Phillip Laird for his nomination for a 2020 National Transport Research Lifetime Contribution Award
The RTSA congratulates Dr. Phillip Laird, with the University of Wollongong, for his 2020 National Transport Research Lifetime Contribution Award Nomination. Through these awards, the ARRB recognises and celebrates research excellence across the transport sector.
Dr. Laird was the RTSA’s Inaugural National Executive Chair and was awarded RTSA Life Membership Award in 2008 (see here for details). Dr. Laird is the author of many technical articles along with conference papers and was the coordinating author of the 2008 booklet, The Railway Technical Society of Australasia – The first ten years.
